This is such a lovely book. You can tell the labor of love that went into it from the author. I like the size of the book so you can really see the paintings in more detail and can tell the stories are personal and well relayed.

The book is full of stories of God’s faithfulness, and each story has beautiful illustrations to go with it. This book will be an encouragement to anyone who reads it.

I do know many of the people whose stories are represented in this book. These are true stories written from the pages of their walk with God. Faith, trust in Jesus Christ and prayer are tenements to a Christian’s life. God loves every single person and is intimately involved in their lives. These testimonies, coupled with Carol’s talent in bringing them to life, make for a journey made in heaven to encourage and inspire.

To know God is to intimately experience the Father, Son and Spirit in union. In this book Carol relays people’s intimate experiences with God, revealing the heart of the Father: I am with you, in you, one with you, intimately involved in every detail, of every moment of your life. Through the unique illustrations of people praying, Carol captures the Fathers heart: My child come as you are, I am here in you, one with you, loving you, going through everything with you and using everything for your good.

I think the thing that speaks to me most in this book is all the beautiful paintings by Carol of many different believers. Very beautiful and warm and each painting is unique. Each testimony points to God’s love and faithfulness in people’s lives. Each testimony in the book shows how God cares for many different aspects of our lives. The stories show how’s God helps us in different ways right where we’re at.
